![]() You can turn off the Salsa Club to help minimize downtime of the other three. Occasionally your buildings may run out of cash to launder. Money goes from Aerodrome -> Residence via Vanessa, then filters out to your laundering businesses. This minimizes the amount of Dirty cash you have, as the laundering is incredibly efficient - Product goes from Farm -> Warehouse -> Aerodrome thanks to Cesar's transport buff. Sit at this point as long as you like to build up Legal money. Every time you get more than $10,000 Legal money, perform one of the actions at the buildings in Amado, until your Loyalty is maxed out. Your Loyalty should be over "Acceptance". Turn off the 4 Farms farthest from your Warehouse to cut costs and save transports. Your Farms should all be filled to capacity, along with the Warehouse. So the city of Amado should now have 4 buildings laundering cash, and your Residence is connected to all of them, with Vanessa running money from the Aerodrome to your Residence.īy this point, you should be sitting on the quest "A New Chapter". Wait until you have enough Legal money, then buy a Salsa Club with it, and connect that to the Residence as well. Go back to Amado, buy an Amusement Park with Dirty cash, and connect it to your Residence. Have Vanessa begin ferrying cash to the Residence, and leave her there to do that. You'll easily complete this, giving you a boost to the profits you make. With 8 Farms and the extra transports from Cesar at the Warehouse, you should be selling the max 26 Opium a flight, with product to spare in storage at the Aerodrome. Once they both arrive, use Miguel's "Lets Make A Deal" perk. Also at the Residence, disconnect it from the Aerodrome by clicking the X to the right where it is listed. This will spawn Miguel, send him and Vanessa to the Aerodrome. Leave Tony at the Residence, and give him a raise of $10. You should also select Vanessa Diaz - she transports very fast, with a max of $5,000. Your first choice should be Tony Quintero, because he's your soldier. Don't worry, you can afford it.Īfter the quest Synergy, you can select a Lieutenant. Go to the city of Amado, and immediately buy a Church with Dirty cash and connect it to your Residence. However, you'll quickly be overflowing with Dirty cash, and I don't know about you, but these are rookie numbers. You'll need those extra trucks to maximize your profits.Īfter the Taxi is built, congrats! You've already created a system that is completely self-sufficient, bringing in more Dirty cash than you can process, and laundering more Legal cash than your expenses. ![]() Other than delivering the Opium once, and then delivering the cash to the Taxi Service once, immediately move Cesar back to the Warehouse. Now, unpause and go through the missions. Other than the couple times the next two missions make him transport things, you'll want to leave Cesar at this Warehouse for a very long time. He adds an extra two trucks for transport. Legal money runs my businesses and pays my employees.īefore you start, move Cesar to the new Warehouse you just built. I only use Dirty cash for a few things - Building construction, laundering, and bribes. This saves us from two things: 1) Tons of Dirty cash sitting idly in building storage, and 2) trucks having to ferry Dirty cash around between buildings. I also immediately convert all buildings to run on Legal money. We have enough Dirty cash to afford the startup costs, and you'll earn it back soon enough. Personally, I build 8 Farms with a Warehouse in the middle. This will give you more direct access to the airfield, drastically cutting down transport times. Now, connect the Farms and Warehouse to the Residence, and be sure to *also* extend the road eastward to the road to the Aerodrome. For better results later, ensure the radius of the Warehouse doesn't go near the main road that goes north from the Residence, put it closer to the road going toward the Aerodrome to the south. ![]() To start, build at least 4 Opium Farms and a Warehouse in the green high efficiency Opium area. lol), so here is what I have found to be the best early game start -įirst, pause the game! You can plan out building layouts with Dirty cash when paused (Using Legal money will immediately deduct the funds, so I don't recommend it). I am in no way an expert, and have restarted probably a half-dozen times when I make a fatal error (one literally - Miguel killed my Capo. I can agree, the mechanics aren't explained well in the guide, and some can confusing. I see a lot of people talking about problems with the early parts of the campaign missions.

Cagney CarnationĬagney Carnation quickly turns from smiling flower to angry killing machine with the ability to shoot damage-inducing seeds into the air from a machine gun. Considering that to get to Werner, you have to beat about a dozen boss fights, the rat is a startlingly benign encounter. A large cat controlled by Werner ups the challenge a bit in the final phase, but the ghosts who throw the projectiles can be easily dispatched. You simply have to get either below or above Werner and dodge any incoming bottle caps.Įverything is telegraphed and slow-moving, so it’s not much of a challenge. The second stage sees a column of retractable bottle caps on each side of the screen with Werner in the middle on a spring-loaded flamethrower seat. In his first stage, Werner slings various projectiles your way, but all of them move slowly. He winds up being one of the easiest, however. He should be one of the hardest bosses in the game simply based on location. ![]() The rat who dwells in a soup can is located in Inkwell Isle Three, the final stand before Inkwell Hell. Even then, Goopy is a proper introduction to how much of your success relies on trial and error and recognizing patterns - which can take several attempts (or more). You have to really have control over the dash ability. Goopy Le Grande is trickier than The Root Pack because it’s harder to dodge the moves. The final phase sees Goopy’s tombstone shimmy across the screen as he tries to flatten you like a pancake. Then it becomes enraged, growing to a massive size while retaining the same core moves. The blue glob starts off small, bouncing around the stage and occasionally ballooning into a thunderous punch. Goopy Le Grande is the other possible first boss. It’s a fairly easy fight once you get used to the flow of Cuphead, but since it’s first, it still poses a challenge. ![]() The carrot shoots homing baby carrots in your direction and shoots hypnosis rays from its eyes. The final phase, a psychedelic carrot, demonstrates how many bosses will soon have more than one move per phase. In the second, an onion incessantly cries, forcing you to dodge the tear shower from above. In the first phase, a potato spews clumps of dirt at you. The Root Pack serves as a perfect crash course in Cuphead, as it shows off the multi-phase format without overwhelming the player. The Root Pack, a battle against three rather large vegetables, is one of them. Out of the gate, two boss fights are unlocked on Isle One. ![]()
Light to help X fight for peace, should the case ever arise. X can find four Light Capsules throughout the game's stages. X then retreated to a nearby cliffside to watch the fall of Sigma's flying fortress, pondering the nature of peace and war. He destroyed his guard dog Velguarder before fighting him personally, destroying both of his powerful battle bodies and putting an end to his rebellion. X continued through Sigma's hideout until he finally confronted the Maverick leader himself. X approached Zero's body, listening to his final words before he passed away. However, Zero broke out of his cage and sacrificed himself to destroy Vile's Ride Armor, levelling the playing field and allowing X to make a comeback to victory. Zero planned to take on Vile alone, but was caught in a trap, allowing Vile to defeat X as well. Upon infiltrating the levitating island fortress, the pair were confronted by Vile once more. Once they were all defeated, Zero informed X that he had located Sigma's hideout and that they were going to storm it. X then fought all eight Mavericks, defeating them and growing stronger along the way. Fortunately X was saved by Zero, who forced Vile to flee before ordering X to continue fighting Sigma's rebellion while he performed reconnaissance. X joined the fight on the highway, where he was defeated by a powerful Maverick, Vile, in a Ride Armor. Although X was by nature a pacifist, he had to do something, so he joined the new leader of the Maverick Hunters, Zero, to stop the ambitions of Sigma and the Mavericks. Time passes and the Maverick Hunters are able to keep peace, but one day Sigma himself became a Maverick, being joined by other Maverick Hunters to start a war against humanity. X also became a member of the Maverick Hunters. Sigma, an advanced Reploid, was assigned to be their leader. To counter any possible threat, the Maverick Hunters were formed. For unknown reasons, some Reploids began to act strange and attacked humans, being labeled Mavericks. Months later, Cain was able to create robots similar to X, called Reploids, and they began to be mass-produced around the world. And when that happens you have no idea what the card was that you just picked up, it’s not highlighted or anything so you have to sit there and mentally sort through the cards trying to figure out what card you want to discard.Īnd the final problem which I just saw the AI do, Was he had three or four of the nine’s, and then he started discarding them? Because I had discarded them so I knew when I let go of the third one, oh shoot he’s going to have three nines. However maybe that’s not the route I want to go, because of cards that have been let go or cards that I know are dead in the pile. The program then rearranges them to sets (ie 777 and 888) which may be the best for points value. I have a screenshot.Īnother problem is, if you have two runs going, with two different suits, and you pick up a card. The computer tells you if you have gin, I had no choice but to knock. There was an instance where I should’ve had Gin and the program did not see it. The first problem, you should be able to manually move your cards around. It’s enough challenge without being frustrating. Meanwhile, I am happy with winning half the time. I may never switch up to that, but if you are able to remember cards already dealt and can figure out what cards the other player has, that setting is for you. There is also an advanced player setting. I am now enjoying the middle or average setting. ![]() I started with that but quickly got bored with it because I won every game. The first level is very easy and is for children or beginners. I like games where I can win at least a quarter of the time. I realize there are players out there who are very good and can remember every card played. Too many times I needed one card to win, but that card didn’t come up until just the moment the other player knocked and won. ![]() ![]() I accused the game of cheating because (unlike a human opponent) it knows exactly what cards I had in my hand and what cards were still in the deck. That may sound like sour grapes, but it’s no fun to lose all the time. I swore the games cheated because I so seldom won. I have had other Gin Rummy games for my iPad, but they made me too frustrated. Rarely have I spent more than 5 minutes hunting something, which makes the game fantastic on the Vita. Unlike Monster Hunter where a hunt can take between 10 and 30 minutes a seasoned player can clear a mission of 4 monsters in about 10 minutes, tops. The combat is fast, responsive, there are 6 melee weapons, 4 or 5 guns, and dozens of monster types to kill. The plot ends up pretty much anime, so if you like anime you won't be disappointed, but don't expect any Hollywood movie story line. Though the voices, in my opinion, are vastly improved from the original game and the voice actors are pretty top notch folk in the industry. However, there's an option to turn voices down so you don't have to hear them. The only detractor that some might find is that there is no dual audio, so if you want the Japanese voices you're outta luck. I am already thoroughly prepared to pour another 100 hours into this version and a further 100 hours into the sequel. This is a game that I dumped over 100 hours into on the PSP and the vita Resurrection version has new weapons, new mechanics, new monsters, and new mission types. It's only $20 on Vita or you get it for free if you pre order the PS4 version of God Eater 2 Rage Burst (coming out in August). So the question you have to ask yourself is, "Does the idea of Monster Hunter, killing giant creatures with cool designs for their parts to enhance my own weapons, sound fun, but Monster Hunter itself wasn't amazing?" Then try God Eater. The game is smooth and looks amazing in a very typical anime style. God Eater is a Monster Hunter type game, but with massive improvements to things like drop rate and controls. That's where the god eaters came in, humans that were compatible with an armlet that lets you damage the giant monsters with your giant sword that is made from giant monster material. Humans were unable to fight back as the Aragami cellular structure was impervious to contemporary weapons. Aragami appeared one day and started absorbing creatures, buildings, and weapons, mutating their bodies into those things. ![]() The story follows your custom character who becomes a warrior called a "New Type" in a post apocalyptic world that was ruined by monsters called Aragami. ![]() Aragami appeared one day and started absorbing creatures, buildings, and weapons, God Eater Resurrection is an enhanced version of Gods Eater Burst which came out on the PSP towards the middle-end of its life cycle, in America at least.
